Building a community participation product

Gjej-Bej helps people discover events, join activities and manage community participation. I own product direction and development across event discovery, authentication, profiles, participation workflows, organizer tools and notifications.

The current shared mobile/web application uses React Native / Expo and Supabase, with PostgreSQL-backed data and access controls.

State and ownership checks

Earlier API work includes transactional organizer-review logic with ownership, participation-state and capacity checks. That work focuses on keeping organizer actions consistent with who controls an event and the state of a participation request.

Current development focuses on a coherent shared app experience and product reliability. This is an active independent product, separate from current employment.
