Training & Simulation at The Learning Network
Led development on three of four training products spanning replicated firefighter sessions, Quest VR, touchscreen machinery and mobile AR.
Different platforms, hands-on responsibility
At The Learning Network, I worked across four training and simulation products and led development on three. The work combined interaction design, simulation logic, multiplayer synchronization and delivery across distinct platforms.
Firefighter multiplayer training
I built session hosting and joining and replicated movement and animation for instructor/trainee sessions. The simulation synchronizes extinguisher interactions and shared fire state, keeping supervisor and trainee views aligned.
I debugged synchronization problems between those views and delivered a finalized firefighter simulation. This work connected interactive training behavior to the underlying network state.
PPE preparation in Quest VR
I took over an existing project, assembled the team's assets and implemented the simulation logic for a VR personal-protective-equipment preparation product using Meta Quest.
Interactive machinery visualization
For a touchscreen application, I implemented part isolation by hiding other elements and worked extensively with materials. A separate mobile AR machinery application supports rotation, touch selection and contextual information and videos. I managed its development and releases to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
These projects gave me practical experience connecting Unreal interactions, multiplayer state and platform-specific delivery to a concrete training purpose.
